Buying & selling
Occasionally, a villa we let changes hands.
Twenty-four years of letting villas in the same handful of countries means we tend to know which owners are quietly thinking about selling, and which buyers are quietly looking. Sometimes it is useful to put the two in touch.

If you’re
Selling.
A villa that has been let through us has a documented history: occupancy, rates achieved, what guests actually said about it. That is a more useful thing to hand a buyer than a set of photographs.
Tell us what you have and what you are hoping for. If we know someone looking in that area we will say so; if we do not, we will say that too rather than take the listing and sit on it.
Write to the deskIf you’re
Buying.
Most people who ask have already rented in the area, often more than once, often with us. That is usually the right order to do it in.
Tell us the country, roughly the budget, and whether the villa needs to earn its keep as a rental. Buying somewhere you have only seen in August is the most common and most expensive mistake in this market, and a long stay out of season is the cheapest way to avoid it. See we arrange those too.
Write to the deskWhat this is
Introductions, not a listings portal.
Either side of the transaction, this starts as a conversation rather than a form. Tell the desk what you have, or what you are looking for, and it goes no further unless there is a genuine match.
- Scope
- Introductions between buyers and sellers, not a listings portal. The sale itself runs through local agents and lawyers in the country concerned.
- Where
- Chiefly Croatia and Greece, and on occasion the other countries we work in.
- Property
- Villas, holiday apartments, estates and the occasional larger property.
