The villa
Located near the picturesque town of Stari Grad on Hvar island with mountain backdrop views, this 5-bedroom villa is set within an extensive Mediterranean garden and features a main house with several outbuildings and a a cobble-stoned terrace with heated pool. The villa is ideal for large groups or families and is a short drive to local amenities, the beach and hiking trails. Guests also have use of complimentary mountain bikes.
The central villa consists of three storeys including a cellar. On the ground floor, there is an open-plan kitchen, dining room and living room with a fireplace and direct access to the pool terrace. There are two double bedrooms on this level each with an en-suite shower rooms. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor for guest use. On the first floor (eaves), there is one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and 2 x triple bedrooms, each with an en-suite shower room. Outside, there is an outdoor dining area, outdoor kitchen, BBQ and sun beds surrounding the pool.
Car hire is recommended. Nearby Stari Grad is a lovely harbour town with plenty of restaurants and shops. From here, regular ferries operate to Split and the mainland. Hvar Island is well worth exploring, with Jelsa and Hvar Town both within easy reach for day trips. For more information about Hvar Island please read our magazine.
