Stunning four bedroom stone house on Vis Island

Stunning 4 bedroom stone townhouse on Vis Island

The island of Vis is fast becoming one of the most exclusive islands on the Dalmatian coast and for good reason. Under Yugoslavia, no foreigners were allowed on the island (as it was a military zone) and as a result the island escaped the building of tourist resorts and hotels on its shoreline. Vis can truly lay claim to the term “unspoilt”. This immaculately-restored stone house in Vis town offers the perfect base for appreciating the attractions in the town and the surrounding beauty of the island .

The house is tastefully decorated and arranged on four floors. Double doors lead into the ground floor which contains a stunning open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge with adjoining utility room and a separate cloakroom with toilet and sink. From the kitchen guests can directly access the courtyard and shaded eating area with table and seating made from fine Brač Stone . The first floor is accessed in two ways, internally from the kitchen diner and externally from street level via a stone staircase both of which lead directly into a second reception area. A double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room (with toilet) are also located on this level. Internal stairs then take you onto the second floor which consists of another double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with bathtub (and toilet). The top, third floor (roof level) consists of a loft-lounge (with sofa-bed for 1 person) with TV and sitting area. French doors open out from this lounge area onto the roof-top terrace which features a BBQ and a large octagonal table that can seat up to 8 persons. Excellent views across Vis Town and its bay can be enjoyed from the terrace. Directly in front of the house is a walkway that allows you access straight to the sea 5 metres away for that essential morning swim!

No automated forms. The enquiry lands on the desk of the regional director for Vis Island, who will reply with availability, a more detailed fact sheet, and (usually) two or three alternative villas you might also like.

We are asked for these at booking, and some villas price by who is travelling. Leave blank if everyone is 18 or over.

We hold your details only to reply. We do not run a marketing list and never share contact details.
